Abstract:This paper presents analytical solutions for anisotropic elastic medium with multi-layered elliptic inclusions. An arbitrary direction of principal axes of elasticity is considered in the anisotropic matrix. In the model, it is assumed that only the normal stress whose direction is parallel to agenerator of inclusion affects a matrix. The relationship between inclination angles of principal elastic axes and stress distribution around the boundary are discussed. In addition, the problem under pure three-dimensional loadings can be solved as quasi three-dimensional analysis.
